Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe is a French territory and is a collection of 5 islands each with their own vibe. From mountainous to low and flat there is something for everyone. Open air spice and vegetable markets on Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre to the fishing towns on Les Saintes that would remind you of Brittney. There are 9 active distilleries on Guadeloupe to visit each making their own style of Rhum.
Dominica
Dominica is the Nature Island of the Caribbean. It’s dramatic landscape of mountains and water falls is a real treat for the hiker. It boasts of 2 distilleries dating back hundreds of years in operation. Visit with us and see how Rhum was distilled long ago.
Martinique
Martinique offers something for everyone. A Rhum lovers paradise, Martinique was given its own legal label “AOC Martinique Rhum Agricole”. There are 14 distilleries to visit where you can enjoy sampling many varieties of Rhum Agricole and learn about the centuries old distilling process. After the distilleries, wander botanical gardens, taste fresh fish in the local villages restaurants and let your senses guide you through the open-air spice markets. If you’re a history buff Martinique also has many historical sites to explore.
While we aren’t limited to these islands we do recommend them due to the interesting distilleries and many island adventure opportunities.
